COLOR CODE unc3-1 Marked on prints as unc3 Split Cord, October 1984
Codes taken from MRC Neuron Charts Feb. 25, 2008; DHH
This young adult has been extensively reconstructed in the anterior ventral cord and retrovesicular ganglion. Many ventral cord axons have been reconstructed using a red, blue and green color code. Many chemical synapses are visible on the prints. The print numbering system is bit confusing, since the early prints did not progress far enough anterior. Therefore an extra 406 photos were later added, and numbered into the negative numbers. Thus the series now runs from (-406) to (-1) and then from +1 to +467. Roughly every third thin section was photographed in this series.
